The border fencing you mention was part of the Secure Fence Act of 2006 that was passed under the Bush/Cheney Regime and constructed under the Obama Administration. You can't extrapolate barrier length over time, because those barriers and fencing went into places that needed them. That's one reason why the additional length of barrier that is needed for effective border security is limited--because the most important places were already provided for. It looks like there will be a compromise to build some additional fencing (about 55 miles), at least if Trump signs it.

This is what a compromise looks like. Neither side is completely happy. Hopefully Trump will sign it and avert another Trump Shutdown.

That was the specific reason behind the charges for today's ruling. Manafort, Gates and Konstanti Kilimnik with close links to Putin go in a club and when they finish their little chat, exit out of three different exits...I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation.

@HerKing And Mueller knows the explanation. We'll see what AG Barr does when the report is issued. My guess is he doesn't release the report, keeps it under wraps, and releases only a summary to Congress.
