Ladies and gentlemen, do you support the government funding "the wall" and actively enforcing immigration laws?

I actually do support enforcing immigration laws, but I don’t see how spending a fortune on a wall is supposed to help, when people are here from all over the world on expired work and student visas. If the laws are unjust they should be changed, not ignored.

Not from you, but they are largely making a strawman argument.@bijouxbroussard

@bijouxbroussard Let's say the cost will be 20 billion, let's just put it at that. I don't see how that compares to a yearly cost of 116 billion honestly. I mean, if 20 billion is a fortune, 116 billion are multiple fortunes

@xRedx First, I don't know where your numbers come from, but that is a figure that doesn't take into account how much they produce. No pun intended, but who do you think picks all of the produce in the country? Not to mention working in the kitchens, hotels, nannies. Yes, there are those who take advantage. What will you admit? Further, you assume a wall will take care of that? Makes no sense when you consider how they arrive in the country, either.

@SW-User When did I say the wall would take care of the entire illegal immigration problem? You're making assumptions, I never said that.

@xRedx Fair enough. Did you know Republicans don't mind the cheap labor? Trump is firing them hand-over-fist.

@SW-User I don't care about cheap labor. They are committing a crime by just being here. Anyone who supports that supports criminals.

@xRedx You don't employ any like Republicans do. You're going to still need them. Or perhaps you are still clueless about how much work they do. Educate yourself.

@bijouxbroussard At the very least, existing laws should be enforced.

@xRedx And that means just as many Republican-run businesses (including Donald Trump’s) are “supporting criminals”. Of course, there is a difference between trying to help others improve their lives vs. exploiting desperate people to improve one’s business.
@walabby Yes, that’s what I said. 😉
