Here in Italy people call you names depending on which other part of Italy you come from. E.g. we in the north are called 'Polentoni' (polenta-eaters) by those in the south. Those in the south are called 'Terroni' (bound to the earth) by those in the north. For the Swiss, all the Italians are 'terroni'. And then aside from these two nation-wide terms there's also a plethora of local variants. For instance, anyone who lives more than even just 2km away from the coast is automatically a 'Ranaro' (frogs eater) here 🙈

@Dewms It's mostly used for joking, and we take such words very lightheartedly generally. Unless told by a (hostile) stranger or in support of an act of hate, of course.

@iMystery It's actually quite simple. All you need to know is if they come from your north or your south and if they live off the coast xD
