@QuixoticSoul she tried to fight the results of the election though that she really thought she'd make first black female governor in a state that has never even elected a black man or white women to statewide office is really crazy

Contesting a very close election is completely normal. It would be weird not to do it - especially since a Federal judge ruled that people's rights were violated in one of the counties.
@QuixoticSoul one the few counties were she act had a lead in. It's like 2016 presidential election. She won like 3 counties just that those 3 counties have half gas population in them
@Mountainlady16 If the state is as racist, sexist, and conservative as you say, and she still got 49% of the vote, then she did quite well, and republicans should be wary of '22.

@Mountainlady16 If those people in Atlanta and Savannah are eligible to vote, they can and should help determine who serves in statewide office. It doesn't matter one whit if most Georgia counties vote Republican. All Georgians should make that decision, not some hand-selected subset.
