Better than the USA in what way? It depends on what you are measuring as 'better than' when it comes to other countries.

@swirlie Americans only care about being rich. Money doesn’t make you happier. Materialistic stuff isn’t everything

"Americans only care about being rich. Money doesn’t make you happier. Materialistic stuff isn’t everything".
What you are not understanding is that Americans are not rich. Far from it. The USA as a country, is not a wealthy nation. The country is technically bankrupt, which is why the government shuts down almost every year to raise the debt ceiling. Raising the debt ceiling means that the country has been authorized by congress to BORROW money from China to pay interest on the American national debt, plus pay subcidies to grain farmers who have to sell their crops at below market values thanks to Trump Economics.
The average adult American owes $7000 in credit card debt alone, which they carry forward each month but never pay it off. This does not include mortgage debt for houses. The materialistic stuff you are talking about is made in China and then imported to the USA, because all of those business that make that stuff have all left America and moved to Asia for tax relief.
