I just consider myself very fortunate to have been born here, and not one of the countries that's full of people who risk their lives and spend their life savings to come live here. I guess the world tries to come to the United States because it only makes sense to do anything and everything to live in the country that you hate the most. It's simple logic! Right?
@mayank1012 It makes sense, that people would be loyal to their respective countries if they are treated well. The same way someone would be loyal to a specific football club or cricket or Rugby team. There would be more emotional investment in a country than a team, though, I would think.
In a lot of ways, Japan is better. They have a better climate, a better beach situation, lower violent crime, far more anime, less religion, and a lot less poverty. The only thing that's truly objectionable about Japan is their shitty economic structure, which is clearly designed to benefit wealthy capitalists at the expense of everyone else. One also must complain about their government's xenophobia and downplaying of Japanese war crimes, but all-in-all, it's still pretty dope.
It's possible to list other countries as being better than the US, depends on what you are measuring. However, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else but the US.

None Mario. Tho that would be a matter of opinion.
Norway, Sweden, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, There are a lot of others that have areas that are better, like education, health care, crime. But could be countered. Like Finland and Canada are good. But the weather sucks.
"Americans only care about being rich. Money doesn’t make you happier. Materialistic stuff isn’t everything".
What you are not understanding is that Americans are not rich. Far from it. The USA as a country, is not a wealthy nation. The country is technically bankrupt, which is why the government shuts down almost every year to raise the debt ceiling. Raising the debt ceiling means that the country has been authorized by congress to BORROW money from China to pay interest on the American national debt, plus pay subcidies to grain farmers who have to sell their crops at below market values thanks to Trump Economics.
The average adult American owes $7000 in credit card debt alone, which they carry forward each month but never pay it off. This does not include mortgage debt for houses. The materialistic stuff you are talking about is made in China and then imported to the USA, because all of those business that make that stuff have all left America and moved to Asia for tax relief.
