@AlmostAnAngel that's the delusion that many suffer from; believing that there is such a thing as an "ideal" candidate... there isn't. There's only mediocre and horrible, bad and worse...

As with most circumstances, the best leaders are people who don't want to lead and/or are wise enough to avoid politics to begin with...

Many are coming to that realization, hence why they didn't vote for a career politician...
