GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@SW-User And the Trump haters would like to see America fail just so they can blame Trump.
SW-User
@GunSmoke9 Exhibit A ⬆️
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@SW-User Wow, you really made your point real clear. Whatever it is.
SW-User
@GunSmoke9 Yeah, that you eat up his make america great again slogan like it’s the gospel. Your point on the other hand is all bark and no bite.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@SW-User Nope. I see what Trump is doing, and what he's trying to get done.
SW-User
@GunSmoke9 The only time America was great was during the 1920s. Years since then, America has never been great and never will. So to think that America will be great again just because someone said it will, is ignorance. It's the same as claiming America is #1.

@SW-User leave then
SW-User
@MasterLee Why don't you do the honors and go.....to a mental hospital? Since you live this falsehood that America is number 1 and is great?
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@SW-User you seem to be the one whining
SW-User
@MasterLee And you seem to be the one who's delusional. And anyone who believes in something that's not there must be mentally ill. So off to a mental hospital you go.
SW-User
@MasterLee And no, claiming that America is not great/#1 is not whining, it's called a statement.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@SW-User so... because I do not respond to your emotional meltdown, I am delusional? Project much?
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@SW-User have you taken your meds today?
SW-User
@MasterLee Oh I'm sorry, I don't live in the delusion that America great. Those meds are for people who do, you have replied to the wrong person.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@SW-User no I am positive thorazine would be best for you.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@SW-User Are those in caravans coming to America because we are a shithole country?
SW-User
@GunSmoke9 They’re coming to America to leave the violence in their country that America created from intervening in their countries politics..

And When they get here do they get into more crap seeing how the American government is treating them now with the zero tolerance policy: seperating families into facilities and keeping them there to a point where someone ends up dead from sickness. Just like Guantanamo bay, this is considered a human rights violation.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@SW-User No matter what America did or didn't do doesn't justify trying to enter illegally. Do you know that those coming with kids are really their kids or related to them?
SW-User
@GunSmoke9
The zero-tolerance policy treats everyone like a criminal, not just the ones who pretend to be the child’s parent.

“The United States agreed to the Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees when it joined 145 other nations in ratifying the Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees in 1968. These treaties define a "refugee" as a person fleeing her or his country of origin because of a well-founded fear of persecution on the basis of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group or political opinion.

Under the treaties, refugees have the human right to request asylum. In addition, these treaties forbid countries from expelling refugees or from sending any immigrants to countries where their life or freedom would be threatened on the basis of the same five categories.

These treaties also prohibit countries from punishing refugees for entering illegally if their life or freedom was threatened at home. Despite the fact that our Constitution makes the rules in these treaties binding U.S. law, the Trump administration is treating asylum-seekers like criminals. When the U.S. government prosecutes or imprisons these asylum-seekers, it violates the rights protected in the two treaties that recognize the human right to seek asylum.”

@SW-User There are lots of stupid treaties. Some of which should be tossed out.
SW-User
@hippyjoe1955 Well this one shouldn't because what's so great about violating human rights?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@SW-User Define human rights? Do I have the right to invade your home?
SW-User
@hippyjoe1955 Human rights refers to "the basic rights and freedoms to which all humans are entitled"Examples of rights and freedoms which are often thought of as human rights include civil and political rights, such as the right to life and liberty, freedom of expression, and equality before the law; and social, cultural and economic rights, including the right to participate in culture, the right to work, and the right to education.

Someone coming to another country to seek asylum is not similar to someone invading a home. The caravan, for example were getting away from the high crime, poverty and corruption in their country not breaking into someone's home and stealing the homeowners belongings. But even then, if a person were to invade someone's home, they would be innocent until proven guilty, this is the opposite for migrants who come to the United States where they are not treated equally before the law.

So for you to justify what's going on, quoting that
There are lots of stupid treaties. Some of which should be tossed out.
is truly sickening, to be honest.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@SW-User So here in Canada it is now illegal to criticize Islam. Is that treading on my human rights? They used the out "hate speech".
