Buzzfeed report picked up by the rest of the media including CNN without any fact checking

is a terrific example of trial by slander. Fortunately Mueller slammed buzzfeed. Apparently at least he believes in due process. Look it up it’s in the CONSTITUTION

I think it hilarious you're getting your panties in a wad over this. Mueller's PR guy didn't say the whole story was false. He said it had specific inaccuracies. And as I said yesterday, so did Bernstein and Woodward's many months of reporting on Watergate. But only a fool would say their story on the whole was false. They acknowledge today when asked if they regretted mistakes and without hesitation say yes, they were embarrassed about it, but that doesn't alter the bigger picture..

Speaking of which, ole Rudy (Worst lawyer in NY) said this morning that the Moscow deal was still in situ up to either october or november of 2016..That means if he's telling the truth (yeah, right?) all the crap about never having dealings with Russia is crap. And not declaring it pre election runs foul of the election regs.

When was the election? @HerKing
HerKing · 61-69, M
@jackjjackson 2016, remember? But you miss the point entirely, or you're just being deliberatly obtuse.

The point is when was the President in business if at all with the Russians. @HerKing

@HerKing This is a tough call - could be either one with JJ

@jackjjackson It makes absolutely no difference when. Russian companies, banks etc were/are under sanction. Meaning any American (and most of the West too) were forbidden to trade with them under severe penalties/sanctions to themselves. If, and if his psuedo lawyer is actually telling the truth in this, what Trump did was not only illegal in the first instance, but broke the law in not declaring it.

Clear enough?

Your inaccurate opinion is clear. @HerKing
HerKing · 61-69, M
@jackjjackson Opinion? Nope. Fact. At the time of the election, Obama was POTUS and sanctions against Russia were in place; (I could go onto mention that Flynn had tried to do a quid pro quo by trying to get them lifted in exchange for....Trump having it rigged? Trump tower in Moscow? Funds for more golf courses? I'm sure it'll be revealed). Therefore if as Rudy said, Drump was in talks with Russian banks/Putin etc to get a tower block built, it was in breach of the sanctions.

What is it you don't get jacky? Hey, if you doubt me, look it up.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
None of that is election collusion. The facts are not as you’ve twisted them. . @HerKing
HerKing · 61-69, M
@jackjjackson Nope...It's actually worse than collusion. Which isn't an offence: Conspiracy to engage with a foreign power/agent in an election is the crime.

The crime here is breaching sanctions. Separate offence.

Incidentally, do tell us what the 'facts' are in this instance. Trump Jr and Jarad might like the advice you give!! 😂

Here you go. A timeline of actual sanctions and when they went into effect. As usual you’re wrong. No sanctions were in effect prior to the election or ever for that matter such as you claim.

@jackjjackson No he's right actually , and you've provided confirmation of it in your own link.

"The U.S. Treasury imposes sanctions on two major banks (Gazprombank and VEB)" - July 16 , 2014.

"The United States imposes sanctions aimed at sectors of the Russian economy, including armaments, energy, and finance. Those specifically targeted include VTB, Bank of Moscow, and the Russian Agricultural Bank. - July 29.

"Capital market restrictions imposed on six Russian banks: Sberbank, Bank of Moscow, Gazprombank, Russian Agricultural Bank, VTB, and Vneshekonombank." - Sept 12

Trump Tower Moscow was dependent upon funding from a sanctioned Russian bank who Kushner was discovered to have had secret meetings with ..... meetings which were only acknowledged once they had been revealed by the press. (Detect a pattern ?)
