The turd has been polished so maybe it shines.

The last two years are embarrassing. So many machievellien backstabbers of both parties.
The majority of people voted to leave
If we don't leave everybody should be ashamed of themselves.
Because obviously their vote or mine didn't count for anything.
P'S I was a remaimer but I'm so disgusted with what's happened
We should be leaving
It's not a flip of a coin
Best of five ?

@AliceTinker Do you think the promises of the leave campaign can be fulfilled.

If I thought they could, I would have no problem at all accepting Brexit.
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@AliceTinker I have a sizeable donation to block it and would happily provide then same again to win or I will back indyref2 in Scotland

@Burnley123 so your saying we can not control immigration if we leave the EU and allow only certain number in why, and we won't be able to take charge of our own money and use all of the billions we send to EU , and spend it in this country why is that,
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Nyloncapes We can control immigration but only at a massive cost. Making yourself poorer to keep on migrants defeats the point, even in its own terms.
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@AliceTinker well said and I respect how you voted, I voted to leave , but you have accepted the result and full respect to you
AliceTinker · 51-55, F
@Burnley123 do you think any promises the leave or remain camps said are any different from any government we vote for and then in a few months they backtrack on what they'd promised in the first place ?
People voted to leave and bitching now about " we didn't know what it meant in the first place " is no excuse. Just as you can't vote for a party for government and then change your mind before the next election.
Unfortunately

@Burnley123 the truth is these hotels , restaurants , pubs, and other industries want them for cheap labour , and not pay a decent wage to people in this country , I mentioned about taking control of our money if we leave EU you never replied on that , I like to hear your views
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@AliceTinker but you can use money and economic power I voted remain and it is now more likely than leave the fight is only just beginning
AliceTinker · 51-55, F
@Longleggedlady I'm sorry I don't understand your comment.
You can use money and economic power ??
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@AliceTinker A government has to be accountable to its manifesto promises. If it isn't, you can vote them out next time. The lib Dems are still paying the price for the tuition fee sellout during their coalition days.

The leave campaign has no such accountability or responsibility because they are not a political party.
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@Nyloncapes the reason the hotels etc use foreign labour is because our own people don't want to do the jobs either and the decent ones pay what they are required to pay
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@Longleggedlady can't make out these people who are unemployed, sooner Sit about then get a job, because they get to much on benefits
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@Burnley123 do you think the false war and lies Tony Blair told about Iraq and weapons of mass destruction cost labour
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Nyloncapes It did at the time and rightly so. Labour won two elections after that but with a vastly declining vote share. It also damaged the image of blairism and its unlikely corbynism would ever have happened if it wasn't for Blair and Iraq.

@Longleggedlady you scots get every referendum wrong...you should leave uk and brexit won't affect you....we voted leave not another ref.....
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@Nyloncapes and it is not even low wages I had a position as my pa almost two years ago requirements had to be flexible hour wise, had yo be able to travel at short notice had to speak read and write English and French fluently for decent salary of 24 starting I got only 7 applications only one was an English girl the rest were foreign girls I actually gave it to the young English girl purely for one reason she had walked several miles to get yo the interview
Platinum · M
@Longleggedlady they are cheap labour and that's the reason , we have over 120000 more jobs in the last year ....things are not bad
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@Platinum the chief reason being the pound has dropped and it is NP longer viable for them to come
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@Platinum I am not Scots I am English I live in Surrey sometimes
Platinum · M
The pound dropped temporary mainly because the uncertainty of brexit....the pound was lower in 2009 and it came back again....@Longleggedlady

@Longleggedlady you said you wanted to be back in Scotland for the second Scottish referendum...so that's why I thought you were a Scot
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F

Platinum · M
Why if you're not a Scot...it's none of your business@Longleggedlady
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
