Whole thing is stupid and unworkable idea best way forward be brave and cancel it
Platinum · M
Stupid people always use words like unworkable or disaster but don't have the brains to back it up with facts, the only fact is you don't have a clue if it's a bad thing, you listen to scaremongers, it's pitiful@Longleggedlady
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
I am far from stupid it was a general short comment Pure fact I like freedom of movement it is my right as An EU Citizen why would I want to give it up
Platinum · M
I said people who can't back up their position with facts are stupid and you have given me no reason to think differently....so you are are in favourite of stabbings and murder , no hospital or doctor appointments , packed schools, packed roads, no houses for our kids and no jobs for our kids, and you say you ain't stupid...I'm baffled....answer this 320,000 came here last year where are they living@Longleggedlady
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
Not where I live that is for sure I already pay for my sort of 16 yr old daughter to go yo school roughly about 40k between school fees and extras for school per year have no issues with doctors or hospitals once again I pay what is needed over and above national health stuff
The reason we have crime is under funding of police resources and how many UK nationals went the other way ??? That brexit would deny that right to
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@Platinum I have a longtime ago decided I from personal level retain My EU passport with all my freedom of movement regardless of the result and will never surrender it is my personal right to do so
Platinum · M
But it will be worthless, keep it in the drawer and look at it every day for all I care@Longleggedlady
Platinum · M
@Longleggedlady you are being selfish again, I'm alright it don't matter about the other 50 million
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@Platinum I fully intend to use my passport I travel on average probably twice a month into EU Thursday I fly to Genoa back Friday following week to Paris and then onto St Tropez early February Greece and I will continue to use it and expect the same as now incidentally everyone is a business trip .
I will show you a deal I put together no specifics because of discretion buyer wanted estate x but rules say you must give tenant farmers chance to buy the farm they are on undesirable to buyer he wanted whole for a fee I showed them the way around it I turned it into company rules no longer apply end of problem the buyer bought the company
Platinum · M
So your reasons are not for the good of the country but because it might affect your job. ...I would have had more respect for you if you had been honest in the first place...@Longleggedlady
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
I am self employed and they are partly for as you know personal and proffessiomal but I also believe firmly it is bad move for the country we are very reliant on the EU both for imports and exports now a lot of peoples livelihoods are going to be at shall we say in precarious jeopardy and I have heard it on more than one occasion and very close to home that company is going to go down the disciplinary route with staff for failing to fulfill the position they are paid to do because Brexit would depending on the deal stop them being able to do their jobs which simply means they will be fired not made redundant it will limit future generations opportunities
You yourself said you lived and ran a business aboard why did you do it I grant you immigration is an issue but it is easy to cure stop the benefit handout system that is one if not the biggest attraction but we also need to as a country differentiate between legal and illegal immigrants I don't want illegal immigrants anymore than you do that come and take the piss that is what we need to stamp out legal freedom of movement brings in resources that we need one of those are doctors that work very long and hard hours within the NHS migrant crop pickers a skilled profession believe it or not you cannot just let anybody loose to pick cabbages unless you want your crops destroyed those come and go Another issue that is sad is to a lot of our own people certain jobs are now considered below them to do they would rather claim social benefits my husband and I have numerous things in a business portfolio my own is far more diverse I try my best to employ our people as my first option but sometimes cannot even get one to turn up for the interview you yourself admitted having had an run a business in an EU country why did you do that ???? Your son as you admitted lives in Spain why???
Platinum · M
@Longleggedlady because he loves the sunshine and the relaxed lifestyle, which I did when I lived there and if it was not for my wife wanting to see the grandkids I would have stayed there..what has that got to do with the U.K. Leaving the eu...you guess everything you say, like most remainers...I want to cap immigration and only allow those here, when they can support themselves, pay tax, and be a worthwhile member of society....tell us all where the 320,000 who came here last year are living and where they are getting their money from....don't avoid the question like you keep doing, when you can't answer...
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@Platinum also where are there kids going to school , and where they getting there hospital treatment and doctors appointments
Platinum · M
I keep asking these remainers, but they don't answer, except long legs who is rich and gets private medical care ....I also ask them where the 320,000 immigrants who came here last year are living and getting money...they are taking our hospital and doctor appointments and they pay for nothing...@Nyloncapes
Taenzer66 · 56-60, M
@Platinum If they were from the EU and not able to support themselves, you could easily require them to leave again, like Belgium does
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@Platinum Are we talking illegals and refugees ??????
Platinum · M
@Taenzer66 lets hope so, if we remain it will not happen, but it won't be east to get rid of them...where are the 320,000 living...
Platinum · M
Both, if they are here they are living somewhere and where are they getting their money from@Longleggedlady
Taenzer66 · 56-60, M
@Platinum If illegals are your problem, that’s not the EU’s fault. You’ve never been part of the Schengen treaty and could have refused them entry, if your government had wished to
Platinum · M
You are wrong again, we have to take as many as the eu tells us to....what comics do you read...eu law overrides our law.."@Taenzer66
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
Like have said I don't want illegals anymore than you do but it is our handouts system that attracts tell me two things would you get into a dodgy boat and try and get across the channel??? And secondly how does not being in the EU actually going to cure that ??? We are talking organised smuggling here and that is most likely partly an internal issue. Refugees again is partly our own fault for poking our noses into other peoples problems and in some cases helping to flatten their countries plus once again benefit handouts system kicks in to make the country attractive
Taenzer66 · 56-60, M
@Platinum Who told you that? EU law only becomes local law when it’s ratified by the local government, btw: only 2% of EU regulations are majority decisions against the UK will (but I assume you don’t mind democratic decisions, or?)
EU never told the UK what number of illegals it needs to take in, refugees might be another issue, but you never took in your fair share of those, either
Platinum · M
@Taenzer66 you are getting boring now, you don't listen or read...go and bore someone else, I can't tell you the same things 20 times..
Taenzer66 · 56-60, M
@Platinum You only told me demonstrably false things and when I question that you don’t provide any logical argument but more falsities
But you’re right, I’ll stop trying to explain it to you and rest my case
Platinum · M
This is my last comment to you, you said it was legally binding to pay them 39 billion and I've proved you wrong , now go away @Taenzer66
