Is it me or is the media attemtping to use black federal workers as the face of those impacted by the govt shutdown?

I watched something on MSNBC yesterday where they interviewed 3 different black families consecutively and never mentioned that they were only talking to blacks. I look at coverage on other outlets and they ALL have chosen blacks as if this is a black problem. To me, it seems blacks are being used as political pawns in yet another way by the left.

There's a big segment of the media which clearly believes in elevating the needs and problems (legitimate or otherwise) of blacks over whites (actually, any other people over whites). I'm sure we both know the excuse they'll give, but what is the real reason? Are they pawns, as you say? Or merely that the left media takes every opportunity to ignore problems experienced by anyone other than certain groups...?

@AMERICA1ST ...after all if the truth were told about how catastrophically damaging three generations of liberal policies have been, they'd all be out of a job (Democrats and their media sycophants alike). It's wicked - but understandable from a warped perspective maybe :(
