I hate politics but would someone explain this to me please?

Trump had two years with a Republican majority in both the House and Senate to get the wall funded as part of his 100 day plan. So why is the GOP blaming Democrats? Trump said on TV to the speaker and minority speaker he would be happy to shut down government and that he wouldn't blame them. What happened?

Why is he blaming the Democrats? Have you ever heard him take responsibility for one of his disasters? He's a con man. And a liar. You don't have to think too deeply about his actions.
