As much as I鈥檇 like see Trump removed, nothing is going to solidify his base like incidents like this one. Trump thrives as the victim. His base sees him as being treated unfairly, because he constantly whines about it. This just reinforces that. As much as it might energize the hardcore left to hear something like that, it鈥檚 also going to further galvanize the hardcore right.

@SW-User This came about because of smear campaigned aimed at her. I think her response is really good. Some people would just get angry.

Trump's base is gonna do that stuff anyway. There is no Hillary around so they need a new woman to project their sexual rage... Oh! I mean political frustrations.

@SW-User Some people ignore the trolls and I take the piss out of them, so I'm likely to agree with her tbh.

Jeb Bush tried to 'rise above' Trump's taunts in the Republican debates with appeals to decency and manners. It doesn't always work.
