That's just what Trump told the soldiers in Iraq. Quite apart from it being Congress and not the POTUS signs it off anyway, he basically told the men and women who put their neck on the line (unlike he ever has done) they're getting a pay rise that is more than twice the amount it is. Oh, and if you were in the US military before Trump took office, he said you're a 'sucker'..

Gotta love the guy !
I mean he breaks his Christmas holiday....moaning that it's the Democrats fault all hell is invading the country because they won't pass funding for his wall.
And later in the same DAY, goes to visit troops in foreign fields and tells them they're only getting HALF the pay increases they were expecting !
