If you hate Trump and hate Hillary, who are you voting for?

I mean, lets be real, your vote is basically wasted if you don't vote for one or the other.

It's not wasted if you think about the power that entails of giving a third party a greater percentage of the vote. If those numbers increase, more people will begin to see that third parties are gaining in support. Humans behave in a group in situations like this. If individuals see no gain at the polls for those other parties, why would they ever think about voting for them?

everyone, myself included, is more concerned over voting for the person that blocks what they perceive as the lesser of two evils from taking office. For example, if they hate Trump, they say that a vote that isn't for hillary is a vote for trump...which may be true. People are too concerned, again myself included, from the fear of blocking what they perceive as the worse candidate, instead of voting for the best candidate.

That's how it is for many elections. I know of many who are taking a longer term approach, thinking a few elections from the most current one by voting Libertarian. Quite a few classic liberals I've found are going this route.
