Do you find it odd that the US government passed a bill reducing punishment for non violent crimes?
They say it's for drug offenders and such but I guarantee in includes something to get political or white collar crimes off the hook too.

probably, but i’ve never seen the benefit of disconnecting non-violent offenders from society.
