Do you agree with Donald Trump that satire isn’t necessarily protected speech?

Apparently, this is not a hill they’re willing to die on for him. I actually find it a little encouraging that no one is defending his preposterous idea of taking satirists to court over his hurt feelings. @Xuan12
@Xuan12 This one is a little bit absurd. I've tried and basically failed to figure out a way to take this tweet seriously myself. I ended up giggling, but I expect, if you can't laugh at yourself, this one is hard to weigh in on, at least without chemical assistance.
@Xuan12 I would especially love to know what all of these so-called "free-speech conservatives" think with their illustrious leader abandoning the cause because he's the target. Trump even defended Ted Nugent threatening to assassinate Obama and Hillary Clinton at a gun show, while waving weapons, saying the First Amendment allowed it---and invited Nugent to the White House for good measure. Trump obviously thinks being ridiculed is somehow worse than having one's life threatened---only if it's him, of course. He tried to have Kathy Griffin ruined for her stunt.
