@xSharp My job is to help others. I understand it well enough.
xSharp · 31-35, M
@BlackcurrentSundae i didnt ask your job, i was asking if you knew what trump was doing wrong in relation to his job as president? then you would know for a fact if he was doing it badly.
BlackcurrentSundae · 22-25, F
Well you did not set context. It is not my job to understand his job. However he has failed to deliver on his promises. He also has put his people more at risk rather than protect them. He has not fought racism and sexism but increased its growth, participated in it and he's universally known for not being able to understand his job, even his own cabinet.

@xSharp Everyone has a right to comment. Even the fox network are getting sketchy with him. You dont understand his job either so surely your comments are a waste of time and have zero merit too. I will no longer reply to you as I'm busy with people who will actually listen.
xSharp · 31-35, M
@BlackcurrentSundae alright then i respect that all you rly want is to be listened to and as i dont want to hear it, i will leave you alone. 😌

@BlackcurrentSundae A president might make promises, but still needs votes from Congress. He wants a border wall to protect Americans, but they refuse to fund it.
BlackcurrentSundae · 22-25, F
@GunSmoke9 If he wants it, he should fund it.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@BlackcurrentSundae That's not how it works.
BlackcurrentSundae · 22-25, F
@GunSmoke9 China wanted a wall, they paid for it, Hadrian wanted a wall, he paid for it. Sorry if that disagrees with the president's outlook but the truth of the matter is, if you want something, be prepared to pay for it.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@BlackcurrentSundae It's not just Trump that wants a wall but also those that voted for him. Again that's not it works in America.
BlackcurrentSundae · 22-25, F
@GunSmoke9 Well you guys live in opposite world. The entirety of the rest of the world does not work that way. Its completely illogical.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@BlackcurrentSundae It's been working for over two hundred years.
BlackcurrentSundae · 22-25, F
@GunSmoke9 WTF are you talking about?! same logic applied, "hey England I want to shoot you but I have no guns, can I have guns to shoot you please?"
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@BlackcurrentSundae You make no sense. Learn how our system works before attacking it.
BlackcurrentSundae · 22-25, F
@GunSmoke9 In your words, how does the system works. Educate me. Tell me from start to finish, exactly how it works. You sound like you know quite a bit :)

@BlackcurrentSundae i googled how they got funding for obamacare and i replaced "obamacare" with "trumps wall"

this is what i got:

The health reform law known as trumps wall (officially the trump wall) is paid for with a combination of cuts in government spending and new revenue from several sources, including tax increases. ... High-income taxpayers also help pay for trumps wall.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@BlackcurrentSundae Just a short version. Someone runs for president making promises. Once elected the president tries to enact his policies, but can't do it alone. A president can't make or change laws himself he needs congress. He's president not a dictator. Congress votes on bills, spending, ect. Getting things done is more complicated.
BlackcurrentSundae · 22-25, F
@xSharp So it is the tax payers that will pay for the wall, not Mexico? Or have I misunderstood?
xSharp · 31-35, M
@BlackcurrentSundae probably a bit of both
BlackcurrentSundae · 22-25, F
@xSharp Explain to me why Mexico should pay for it. It's of no benefit to them. China paid for their wall so they could protect themselves, as did Hadrian. Surely the people wanting the defence should pay for the defence, like a cyclist buying themselves a helmet rather than the drivers of cars. Or a mall paying the security guards rather than the criminals. Or the owner of the mansion paying to build the coded gate rather than the intruders. I don't understand why America could possibly agree with these rules but change them when it comes to the wall.
xSharp · 31-35, M
@BlackcurrentSundae maybe they should maybe they shouldnt, but if the end up doing it, then good for trump making it happen.
