It's just normal capitalism. The problem isn't really the buybacks - it's that GM doesn't think it can make a profit on those plants and workers.

Corporate America got a big ass tax break this year and was supposed to invest it in American workers. The only workers benefiting so far are the ones on Wall Street..

@Notmesam Investment lowers the tax burden, so I'm not necessarily seeing how lower taxes are supposed to incentivize it.
Yeah, I don't really think corporations are evil, but their duty is to their shareholders, and not to their lenders.
