When will a politician give us a straight answer?

I know they all do this, but I just listened to an interview with Sen. Rand Paul. He didn't even come close to answering the first five questions he was asked. In some ways I blame the interviewer (in this case, Wolf Blitzer). They usually just let them blather on about something not related without bringing them back to the original question. I wish at the end of the question the reporter would at least say, "So it sounds to me and the American people like you don't wan to answer that question."
