No deal get out now and let them get on with it .Lets have hard borders like Australia and laws like Australia for people coming here .Stop the river of refugees that this country isn't capable of having were a small island already overpopulated .
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Rhodesianman It's gonna mess up our economy and leave everyone poorer but well done
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@Rhodesianman tl;Dr version of your post: "Brown people scare me"
Rhodesianman · 56-60, M
@Burnley123 Utter rubbish we survived on our own before Maggie dragged us into the EU and will survive perfectly well outside the EU.

basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@Rhodesianman because that's clearly the case, what with all the xenophobia and all
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Rhodesianman The seventies was a different world. Also, all are laws and trade relations are tied up with this so ending them instantly would be a disaster.
Rhodesianman · 56-60, M
No it wouldn't the EU needs us more than we need them its all scare mongering we would be fine .So we would have border checks big deal and there would be more paper work big deal we would manage and we would be able to make our own trade agreements .Its all just scare mongering .Believe me we will be better off out .
@Rhodesianman the scary thing is how many people are still seduced into bleating these farage slogans despite them all having no factual basis. Idek if I can blame you for it, you’ve fallen under their spell and they won’t let you let go
Rhodesianman · 56-60, M
@AndrewtheAlu I am not under anyones spell I am a realist and the truth is it might have an effect in the short term but in the long term we will be independent and stronger .Its all the scare mongering that's the problem .
Rhodesianman · 56-60, M
The EU know they need us more than we need them hence why their trying to make it as hard for us to leave as possible .May needs to get a backbone and just say fine were leaving bye .
@Rhodesianman explain then, how the people who aren’t in power warning about potential problems (whether or not they actually happen) are a problem yet the failure of any Brexit advocate to answer these concerns (at least some of which must be valid) is not a problem?
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Rhodesianman I keep getting that same jingoistic bs about them needing is more. Its ridiculous. They have five and a half times our economic power and are united.

If the EU was weaker than us, May would not have come back with such a shit deal.
@Rhodesianman and who needs legislation right? Who cares if we break the good Friday agreement? Who cares if 3 million citizens in the UK and 1 million UK citizens in the EU have no rights? Is it really that simple?
Rhodesianman · 56-60, M
@Burnley123 She was never a brexiteer and she will never get it through parliament .Her heart isn't in it and we knew this from the start .
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@Burnley123 if they don't need us why They doing everything to keep us in EU. Yes you are right they are united, but they need our money, how do you think the other countries will react if they had to make them billions up ,or had there budgets cut to make this money, up, also Germany and France workers would also suffer , and other countries, as they trade with us.
Rhodesianman · 56-60, M
you are right @Nyloncapes There asking for billions in the agreement does that sound like an EU that doesn't need us .
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Nyloncapes They are not doing everything to keep us the the UN. If we are leaving, it will be on their terms.
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@Rhodesianman and want to keep us after Ths backstop so we come in with there budget so they can screw us for more billions
Rhodesianman · 56-60, M
@Burnley123 you answered your own question on their terms meaning they need us
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Rhodesianman The point is that you are naive to think we have negotiated power to get a good Brexit deal.
@Rhodesianman no matter where her heart is, she can’t negotiate a deal that isn’t possible. And if she should’ve gone for no deal, I’m still waiting for answers to the problems with it I posted above.
The EU would like us don’t get me wrong, they recognise that collaboration with people generally causes less problems than giving them the finger. But we would get better trade deals when we’re part of a wider base of customers. If you have the choice between selling to 500 million or 70 million, you choose 500 million.
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@Burnley123 I like your posts and respect them, I might not be into politics like you, but why on there terms. Were leaving,
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@AndrewtheAlu Yep. Add to that the fact that the EU have no reason to give us a bad deal (because they don't want others to leave) and they also have the power to negotiate us into a corner.

May had done crap, but because she played hard ball with people bigger than her but came up short. The same would happen to another PM.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Nyloncapes If we have a hard Brexit, it hurts them but hurts us more. Many of our industries would take a big hit and it would be a huge recession. I don't think Brexit voters realise this.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Nyloncapes I think you are a nice bloke but I think you've been conned.
