Judge shopping
@eli1601 He's a Trump appointee.

@MistyCee Doesn't mean they don't know his background. Plus, it was a very narrow ruling.

IMO, Trump should let this go. Acosta makes the case for the bias of the mainstream media so everyone can see.
@eli1601 I seriously doubt there was judge shopping, and I do think Trump ought to move on.

This was actually likely a win for Trump, all things considered, since it was only on due process and CNN can't take the First Amendment issue to the DC Circuit (and Garland) now.

@MistyCee Maybe. If I was the White House I would do away with the press briefings.

Let the reporters write (or type) their questions and the White House could respond also in writing.

I would LOVE to see the uproar over that.

@eli1601 what a patriot. You are willing to not hold the govt accountable to the press

There is a reason the founding fathers have freedom of the press you seem to forget that

@St0ut Cry me a river. No one is shutting down TV, radio, or newspapers. They can print what they like. Idiot.
@eli1601 Why not just use Twitter?
eli1601 · 70-79, M
@MistyCee That's OK as well.

@eli1601 limiting what the press can ask is a violation of the 1st amendment. You seem to enjoy state run media
eli1601 · 70-79, M
@St0ut So they can ask Donald how often he an Melania have sex and if he doesn't answer he's limiting the 1st amendment?
St0ut · 51-55, M
@eli1601 Funney I don’t recall Acosta asking that question. But hey you are the one advocating for the infringements on rights
