Even the SW Trumpets seem subdued.

Well I will respond however in no way see myself as one of those. I’m a slightly right of center moderate that looks at every issue separately. Probably more to the left on social issues. Mostly I am a never ever Mrs Clinton republican who voted for President Obama twice so take all that as you will.

The election turned out pretty much as I expected although I expected the Dems to get at least ten more house seats and the Senate to stay the same so I’m mildly pleased. I wouldn’t mind if the president appointed another SCOTUS justice due to retirement I don’t wish death on anyone and in fact am a big fan of RBG as a professional while not always agreeing with her as to politics.

@jackjjackson Sometimes you do surprise me.

I actually try to keep in 100 and am not a crazed right winger. What’s your deal? @SW-User

@jackjjackson I'm a moderate Democrat who despises Trump so I may come across as more to the left than I am.

Where/Proof I am not a leftist!

--I support Free Speech on college Campuses

--I voted for Rudy Giuliani when I lived in New York City.

--The Clinton Foundation was partially corrupt.

--I initially thought Kavanaugh was qualified.

--I am not for open borders.

--I don't support Medicare for all (but do support Obamacare).

--Parents should pay/make food for their kids (not the school).

--Some regulations are in fact, stupid!

Intersting. Believe it or not I am of the opinion the Medicare for those who pay the tax for it and Medicaid for those who don’t may be better than the bastardized system we currently have which benefits insurance companies more than patients and providers. Kavanaugh’s bahavior at thr hearing was kinda a disqualifier however I’m willing to see how he does so far so good. I believe Roberts will move towards being a centrist. Too much lean one way or the other isn’t good. I’m not hoping for a death to create an opening. @SW-User

@jackjjackson I'm a "gradualist" when it comes to Healthcare, but not philosophically opposed to single-payer. I don't know the Court's record on gerrymandering or "voter suppression," but it's bad for everyone in the end.

I agree that gerrymandering on either side is not good. Historically it has run in cycles. It shouldn’t happen. The subject of voter suppression and the FL and GA voting controversies is too fuzzy to make sense of. @SW-User
