Fire him for what? Fire him because that lady aggressively reached over to pull the mic away from him, and acosta saying "excuse me ma'am, and his other arm naturally and instinctively coming down on top of hers (not in a karate chop)) only causing her arm to slowly move a few inches down to try to block since he could not have easily stepped to the side away from her. And then she backs off. There's no movements that suggest anything close to a single bruise or fight, or any inappropriate behavior by him happened, etc.

I'm thinking the people reporting the story as him inappropriately touching her, or karate chopping her, or that he was the one pulling the mic away, or restraining her arm should be fired...because that is ALL made up.

I don't care if anyone likes or dislikes Acosta...but the fact that this meme and other people are celebrating that his credentials are pulled because of people falsely reporting an incident? There is nothing to celebrate about that. All such behavior like that should be immediately condemned. Shame on you really. Apparently partisan politics are way more important to you, apparently celebrating Trump acting like a fascist and banning whoever he likes for any reason he feels like is way more important to you. Why is that?

@Scribbles Fire him for not doing his JOB, which in case both you and he forgot is to ask QUESTIONS to inform the public not try out his high school debating skills on someone more important on his worst day than Acosta will ever be on his best, The first words out of his mouth were "Mr President, I'd like to challenge you..." is that what a reporter is supposed to do? To CHALLENGE someone, meaning he has an opinion he first wishes to express, or to seek information regardless of his political bias, which this creep obviously has?
I see you are so used to CNN and their style of "reporting" you no longer know the difference.

And what about him strong-arming a 21 year woman? Does that conform to your standards of "professional behavior"? Don't bother answering...I already know your answer - anything for the cause, right?
Scribbles · 36-40, F
@Abrienda I challenge people all the time in little ways when I think it's important.

And I believe part of being a Journalist involves pushing a bit for answers. What is wrong with that?

If anybody physically fights anybody regardless of who they are. I'm there to keep the peace, Period. I won't be taking sides just "for a cause"

When did he strong arm her? All video evidence from different websites that I've seen (none of them were all cnn btw...) don't show him strong arming anybody. What is your definition of strong arming btw?

Can you prove he's not done any informing people of any facts this year? Make a list of everything he's done. Can you prove he hasn't fulfilled whatever his job requirements are? Because that would be a legit reason to remove someone that simply not liking him for being a pushy reporter.

We are talking about THIS incident for wich you have no answer. And again to start with "Ï challenge you" is NOT reporting...its advocating. Like I wrote obviously don't know the difference between the two and since you don't or are being intentionally stupid there is nothing more to discuss with you.

You omit thst Acosta had already repeatedly been told he had asked more than his share of questions and rudely kept asking. There are a lot of reporters who should have turns asking question. Press conferences aren’t the Jim Acosta show. In addition his questions were never about probing for news they were always about pushing an agenda. CNN didn’t lose the opportunity to have a reporter present simply not thst one. You don’t help the conversation by throwing out negative labels. Let’s stick to the facts. @Scribbles

The reporters are there as guests of POTUS. their behavior should be exemplary. No rudeness should ever occur. All instructions should be followed. If a reporter does not stop when told they should no longer be invited. The people he or she represents should lose press credentials for a month. Same goes for acting like an adversary. The press should always be neutral towards both parties. Obama banned Fox and denied them interviews despite them not breaking any of these rules.@jackjjackson

@AnneHoney These people have no sense of correct behavior only entitlement. They harass people trying to eat in restaurants, show up in mobs at their homes where their families have to hide in fear (don't you have any POLICE in the USA by the way?). Americans like to talk about "cowardly" Europeans but this doesn't happen in Europe because we wouldn't stand for it. If in the USA some people were having to count how many teeth they had left in their mouth as opposed to the how many had been knocked out and were laying scattered on the ground this would stop! Force is all these Red Fascists understand.

I’ve seen Parliament on TV. Some pretty crazy behavior. The hate and mobs introduced by the Democrats recently is at the behest of Soros who funds Antifa and Black Lies Matter.@Abrienda

Acosta isn’t even a journalist. And this isn’t his first misbehavior. POTUS has every right to issue credentials or to deny them to anyone they feel they should. As Obama did before him. If this was just about asking difficult questions or being rude, a half dozen others would justifiably lost their access. Acosta is a piece of shit@nutrigrain

Fine support a douchebag. @nutrigrain
