Not a miracle, but pretty unlikely. Trump is consolidating his support in already very red states, which probably makes his supporters in those states feel very confident.
I can say that I don’t think his act plays as well in the Midwest as it does in the South and parts of the West. @SW-User
@luckranger71 Union thugs have been beating up on the governor since his first election. Gov Scott was a good guy. The people finally submitted to leftist propaganda. Had nothing to do with Trump.
Riggght. Scooter got what he wanted which was the destruction of public sector unions. Which compromises public education across the state. The last thing the state needs in order to attract high paying business.
Frankly, Trump will lose Wisconsin by more than Walker did. He won the state in ‘16 with less votes than Romney got in ‘12 when Obama won the state. A decent turnout and he’s cooked. @Budwick
@luckranger71 Are you one of those poll people? Polls haven't done so well. The presidential election is two years from now. A tad early for predictions. Live in the here and now Luck.
Oh, and those public sector unions are sucking public sector money like nobody's business. Their pension plans are not sustainable, and certainly not right / fair. Let 'em fund their own pensions and retirement like everyone else.
The here and now is that Evers is governor after being outspent 3 to 1 😀
Re your second point: since about 1980 the GOP has successfully starved government by cutting taxes on the wealthy to create a fiscal “crisis”. Attracting talented people to teaching and local government takes inducements as they are salaried and cannot work more or adjust their business model as in the private sector to make more money.
I’m glad Wisconsin took a step to be more like Minnesota and less like Alabama or Kansas, which was the direction we were heading under Walker. @Budwick
