Trump lies thousands of times and the Republicans don't say a word, he plays Nuclear Chicken with N Korea and they don't do anything. He is suspected of colluding with Russia to become the POTUS and they would rather not have that investigated and help him cover up after the fact. Let him appoint people and even give waivers to people that will make decisions about the Russia investigation. The most corrupt admin in living history gets to appoint the people that will oversee or make decisions on his investigation. It's no different than Kemp overseeing his own election and suppressing hundreds of thousands of votes because he's in the position to do it.

One of the reasons he can do it is because the Republicans have been pushing their Fear Campaign for decades and because people bought in to how scary Hillary was. They hated her enough to vote a notorious Con Man to be their President. Almost nothing the Republicans said about Hillary was true, Benghazi bullshit, she sold Uranium, bullshit, but that doesn't stop those dumb Con's from repeating those lies to this day. The republicans are brilliant at slander and propaganda but Trump was actually able to double down on all the lies and take it even farther. The Republican Party should have collapsed in 2016 but those dumb Con's got sucked in again. You have to remember that these are the same people who voted for any Republican candidate that said he would repeal Roe Vs Wade for over 40 years, in every election.

That a corrupt Supreme Court and a President that took an adversarial countries side over all agencies whose job it is to protect him and the country, is a good thing. Someone that refused millions set aside to fight cyber warfare because he needed to leave the door open for more help in the Midterms and beyond. The POTUS who after sitting with Putin for an hour came away thinking a joint cyber security task force was a good idea.
