@HoraceGreenley The pic reminded me of a time when I was 17 and the earth was not yet fully formed. A hunger attack after an earlier wiener roast, with leftover hotdogs, already roasted over a fire in one of those long-handled baskets. We threw them in a skillet to reheat. The only explanation I can offer is most of the ... pores? orifices? ...of the wieners had been cauterized closed. As they heated and steam began to build, the steam shot out of the end where the casing was tied shut and they shot around the pan like torpedos.

It was funnier in the watching than in the telling.
