Why are liberals so determined to embarrass America?

Nowhere else on Earth has such a hateful and extreme radical left who attack everything our President does for no reason. They show cult-like behaviour and insult anyone who disagrees with or even questions their indoctrinated world-view. They use prejudice instead of logic and discredited conspiracy theories instead of rational argument. The radical liberals attack others for dividing people with identity politics when they themselves are doing it. These people have no self-awareness and are blind to their own hypocrisy.

And yet it's the conservatives the world is laughing at right now. Hmm.

I bristle a bit at calling this new guard “conservative”, because they aren’t. There’s nothing conservative about restricting trade and spiking the deficit/debt. Watching the (de)evolution of the GOP has been like watching “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”.

@Graylight Who cares who the world is laughing at? Which, by the way, isn't true. You're seeing populist movements taking over country after country in Europe, some not being healthy for the country. The economy is at record high points, business is doing well, and we managed to renegotiate trade deals with other countries. So, please, enlighten me on where this liberal world is that is sitting around us laughing? Because, as far as I can tell, we have the power, the wealth, and the last laugh. It's easy to laugh from the bottom of the hill.

@SW-User Wealth and power don't define a great country. Pulling out of treaties and redrawing the lines of standing agreements is not renogiation. The economy isn't as good as the Republicans would have us think.

@Graylight Really? Because the numbers are sure saying otherwise. Also, pulling out of treaties and redrawing the lines is EXACTLY how you renegotiate. It's like when you go to a car dealership. The most effective way of negotiating a good deal is your willingness to walk away. Wealth and power don't define a great country, but you know what does? The freedoms that America enjoys due to our Constitution that no other country has. No matter how much you think other countries have the same freedoms, you're wrong. I've been through dozens of countries in Europe, Asia, and Latin America during my time in the U.S. Army. Restrictions on freedom of speech are rampant, and things that are considered controversial to say in the U.S. will guarantee you jail time in countries like Germany or France. In the U.K., a woman was arrested for criticizing the Prophet Mohammed because they declared it an incitement of violence. You might also see the 2nd Amendment as a backward weakness of our country, but many also see it as a right that no other country has to guarantee not only the safety of the nation from ever enduring invasion, but the right to guarantee your personal safety as well. Our Bill of Rights guarantees so many rights that are not afforded anywhere else in the world. Not to mention that taxation in countries constantly cited by the Left as examples of good policy - 60% in some places.
