For fleeing conditions created by the Western world? War or climate change etc. As natural resources dry up and the global south becomes less habitual then the refugee problem will only get worse. A lot worse.

Fund military conflict, leave farmland flooded or arid and then build a wall to keep people out... Because of personal responsibility.

@Burnley123 Well a bit of a segway. The US created the political climate in El Salvador and Guatemala and now is -losing its shit- over the asylum seekers flooding in from those countries.
