@vacationgirl media lies. Check the national debt. They moved public money to government sector debt. Notice the debt went up steadily and never wavered. The surplus was as big a lie as the social security lockbox.

One thing we need to remember as well is that the deficit was way down before Obama came into office. Many are falsely blaming him for the deficit, especially the administration we have now.

@silentwriter180 Deficit was way up, under Bush - and Obama had to spend us out of the recession, so yeah, deficits were heavy under Obama. But that was expected in times of economic trouble.
