I have no problem with them riding. I’m pointing out yet another instance of CNN duplicity. The caravan numbers of dissipating daily. What they did in crossing the southern Mexico border was an illegal alien invasion. General Mattis has been concrete barriers and 5K troops to supplant the National Guard. No reasonable American would find an illegal alien invasion of the United States border acceptable. No violence will be necessary. A show of force, physical barriers, water cannons, fire noses p, tear gas and if absolutely necessary rubber bullets and deafening noise should do the trick @Burnley123 @cultofaction

These are ridiculous and extreme examples of course. Just like to say that Middle-Eastern member of ISIS is part of an (ethnically different) Honduran refugee caravan is an extreme example. HOW would it even happen and why?

Democrats are [i]more[/i] sympathetic to illegal immigrants than the republicans and court the Hispanic vote - but are rather ambivalent on the immigration issue and it’s not like they want to open up borders and welcome these people either. There is a reason why Obama was called the deporter in chief, and why the democrats’ response to this current situation has been a deafening silence. Things like this do the opposite of firing up their base.

@cultofaction Because that guy created some high end drama, while the sortition dude’s plan was just one of the many that get nabbed in the planning stages. We hear about them, but they’re never have the same mileage. No mystery, no buildup, just post-facto resolution.

A national manhunt, and high-profile targets create news - and it’s a developing story which gives it more legs.
