Do u believe that Donald Trump is making race relations in the US worse ? 馃捁

I do. It would be rather stupid to ignore his hate filled rhetoric over the past year and pretend that is he is not amplifying the fears of some Americans. And lets also remember his ugly words about the players in the NFL and NBA too.
What do you think. After this latest tragedy here in Pittsburgh, PA, do you believe that Donald Trump is causing some racial tensions to worsen here in the US or even across the globe. Let's talk about it. And while you are at it Google Robert Bowers if you dare. Comments please.

While I can't blame him for igniting a few crazy people to do crazy stuff, he has done nothing to really unite people who have differing opinions when it comes to political issues. In the end, people who have their opinions will still exist and you have to learn that not everyone is going to carry the same viewpoint as yourself...not everyone is going to like you or agree with you ...but to this day he hasn't said anything meaningful to help this rift in america

About half the country always has been and will be on one side of issues and the other half on the other side. Politicians change their opinions just to be on the opposite side. Obama, Hillary and Schumer are all on tape favoring building a wall and preventing illegals from entering. But as soon as Trump wanted it they changed their view. It鈥檚 how politics works. Can鈥檛 agree with the other party.@JarJarBoom

@AnneHoney From what I remember the discussion was about strengthening border security and building partial walls..not an entire wall along the border
Zonuss41-45, M
@JarJarBoom I agree Jar. But there is an old saying out there, and it goes like this. If you are not looking for a solution to the problem, then you are part of the problem. 馃檪
AnneHoney36-40, F
Same result, different tactic. No one claims they will build a wall in the river@JarJarBoom
AnneHoney36-40, F
Thank god we finally have a president solving things@Zonuss
JarJarBoom41-45, F
@Zonuss I guess the only thing to do is the whole "wait and see" approach after the mid-terms.
AnneHoney36-40, F
Mid terms are likely to make things worse. More divide as Dems take the house and Repubs increase majority in the Senate.@JarJarBoom

I think another issue that waters down the belief of our president that kinda makes everyone go "meh" is how he kinda switched around parties for his own benefit, it was less about belief and more about "what am I going to do to win"...people rarely mention his run in 2000 under the reform party.
JarJarBoom41-45, F
@AnneHoney won't be anymore different than what was experienced in the past, but its really up to the citizens to determine what they want since there isn't an electoral college when it comes to senate/congress/reps
AnneHoney36-40, F
But that is typical. His politics are very much Clinton and Kennedy but the Dem party has moved Way left.@JarJarBoom
JarJarBoom41-45, F
@AnneHoney how is that typical? what other presidential candidate switched parties?
SW-User
@JarJarBoom Sad part is that I don't think the person after him will be any better.
JarJarBoom41-45, F
@SW-User yea, I have to admit the 2016 election had some really sh*tty candidates.. like nobody really appealed to me at all
SW-User
@JarJarBoom I also keep hearing the Democrats say that we need someone that will unite us, not divide us. Yet, you hear their platforms, and it doesn't really say much that isn't just a coin-flip of Trump. So, basically Socialism is awesome, white males suck, women are awesome, let's have laws that regulate speech, and let's take all of your money in taxes and spend it on a healthcare plan that will bankrupt the U.S. When broken down into the barest terms, that's essentially their platform, and I don't like it.
JarJarBoom41-45, F
@SW-User yea, I haven't heard much from that party. The thing I disliked about Bernie is how he had these great plans but he's practically giving everything away but I don't like the outlook of just helping corporations and f*ck the little people....there really isn't a happy medium.
SW-User
Well, I think that sometimes the Republican plans can be abused and perverted. Opponents coined that term "trickle-down economics," which has given people the wrong impression of what they intend in terms of taxes. I do like the idea of cutting corporate taxes, and most European countries with good economies actually have lower corporate tax rates than the U.S. It has worked so far too, and actually allowed companies to expand, grown, hire new workers, raise some wages, and even prepare for economic trouble so that no workers need be fired. With Bernie, I couldn't stand it because he always made that 1% argument, said that everything should be free, but then never said that it had to get paid for somehow.
Zonuss41-45, M
@AnneHoney And yet causing more problems. He is nothing more than a con artist piggyback president. 馃檪
Zonuss41-45, M
@SW-User Its interesting to hear your opinions on this issue. I do sense some resentment coming from you though, and a sense of entitlement that you yourself are not willing to face here today. 馃檪
SW-User
@Zonuss Entitlement? Coming from the side that believes that they deserve a bunch of free shit on the back of my tax dollars lmao. Take that shit elsewhere.
JarJarBoom41-45, F
@SW-User you can't always rely that corporations will do that if they get all these tax breaks, you area really hoping and wishing that by cutting off some revenue to your government that the corporations will do the "right thing" rather than just keeping it as a profit and then you have to think about the lack of skilled workers in the US, jobs that require education and schooling...there is hardly no emphasis in education.
Zonuss41-45, M
@SW-User I don't get anything for free son. I work for a living. So keep talking to that tree there. Its not hearing you. 馃檪
Zonuss41-45, M
@SW-User Its funny you never complain about these politicians on both sides using your tax dollars to kill and use soldiers, and molest young girls or rape them. I cant take you seriously here. Sorry. 馃檪
SW-User
@Zonuss Well, I was a solder, had friends die, and I don't really care about what you have to say. You don't actually care about me or my fellow soldiers, you just want to say you do to make yourself feel better and move up on the Righteousness Hierarchy. I'm assuming you're talking about Roy Moore? Fuck Roy Moore!
SW-User
@JarJarBoom There should be, I don't think education should fall by the wayside.
Zonuss41-45, M
@SW-User Your friends dies at the hands of greed. They were used as toys to promote a dark and ugly New World agenda. They were taken advantage of, and lied to. Anything else you wanna add. 馃槓
