At least he didn't touch corporation tax! Its bad enough making it as a one man Ltd company.

@Uncfred I suspect all the above is subject to change anyhoo depending on what 'deal' we get from Brussels.
He's likely to introduce another budget as soon as we know what the final deal is.

You expect a deal then?
Picklebobble256-60, M
@Uncfred Oh i fully expect May to f*ck-it-up and for us to leave without one. Either that or for our opposition to vote against it just because they can and THAT'S the state of politics in this country at the moment !

No drive. No ambition. No desire to be bold and move forward. Just this desire to feather their own nests; throw their hands in the air and say ....'we told you so !'

I am just amazed at the governing bodies who have let us spend 拢millions for nothing, because no result will be good for us, and we will foot the bill.

@Uncfred it went wrong for the UK the minute the other nations agreed the Maastricht deal on a single currency back in '92.

Overnight 18 comparable currencies disintegrated so we had nothing to measure the success of the Pound by !

@Picklebobble2 I think that whatever the outcome (If ever there is an outcome), it wont benefit the "man in the street". The pound related to the UK can only shrink as it has done over the past few years.

@Uncfred We're in the grip of a recession that no government is talking about. Borrowing is at it's lowest for a generation. Mr.Trump's 'business giveaway' may have repercussions worldwide in terms of trade and slow jobs growth as a result.

France and Germany are trying to 'faction' the E:U members into 'haves' and 'have nots' and if the downward trend continues i wouldn't be surprised if they call 'time' on E:U 1 and try and create E:U 2 only with countries of their choosing !
