Trump doesn't actually have to have a wall. He just needs to say he is building one to keep out the invasion force of poor women and children.

The US Congress has not approved money for Trump's wall. Money was approved for the previously border security enhancements. As far as I know, the Mexicans are paying for this new wall, so perhaps this should be a question for the Mexican authorities?

As to the wall "samples", these are private contractors, who paid for it on their own, in the hope of getting $Bs of potential wall contracts. I guess they should have waited for the wall paperwork to go through, before they built samples...

But, yes, the wall is a joke. No one can build an impenetrable wall. What makes it secure, is the electronic countermeasures, but that's what Congress approved money for, under Bush, Obama and Trump.

I dont know what everybody is freaking about - there is already fences / and walls and a hell of a long river - we just need to make the USA not so inviting so the ones that came here illegally will self deport.
