So if a state legalizes pot and decides to expunge everyone's pot charges. That would only be for like possession,cultivation, and distribution right?

But if you got a dui for weed it would still be on your record thou right since driving while high is still illegal? I got in an argument with some friends earlier cause they thought that the dui for weed would be expunged too since it was only for weed and not alcohol
Do they think that driving while high is not still a crime in a state where weed is legal? silly rabbits.

Not sure of the actual legalese, but it sounds like your interpretation is correct.
Same for operating heavy machinery or rocking up at work half baked. Of course it’s illegal.

@Invocations It's okay, I work from home 😇
@daisymay 😂that’s a bargain.

@Invocations
rocking up at work half baked
Oh that’s legal. You’ll just get fired.

Charges don’t automatically get expunged anyhow - that step is purely optional. And I don’t think anyone is going to decide past DUIs are suddenly ok.

It's the same as with alcohol, you don't do it while driving.

That seems about right. It’s still duI with pot or booze.
I don’t see DUIs being expunged (nor should they be) because “driving under the influence” of any substance is still against the law.
