They'd probably have a better shot at the charity. Pretty sure the cartels could smash their government if too much change happens.

Imagine a world where both are possible.

They might meet some serious backlash leaving countless numbers dead and injured. Hey, this country has been involved with dictatorships (better put "in bed") and so arrange as we have in the past to get the current regimes taken down (we seem to be masters at that) and turn the countries over to the cartels. Then this caravan mentality and rushing to Estados Unidos might stop.

Normally I would, yes. But I have a friend who made it out of Honduras. Imagine what the media is saying and then times it by a million. That's how bad it is there. But in general, I'm totally for better immigration laws.
