@VampireVytra He's not. Broadly, Democrats are indeed center right in so far as political scientists and citizens of other developed countries understand the left-right continuum. It's just easy to forget in the US, where the two parties dominate the landscape so much that they begin to look like north/south poles.

@VampireVytra Prior to Reagan fucking literally everything up, even the GOP candidates were running on promises of single-payer healthcare. On several issues, Obama was actually to the right of Reagan.
