He can just go back into his shell.
@Graylight You honestly have no shame or embarrassment about the behavior of those with whom you have cast in your lot? You're leaving your hat in the ring, so to speak?

@puck61 I have little time for the lament of a privileged white old man who has absolutely no trouble tilting the playing field any time he sees fir so as to ensure he wins at all costs.
@Graylight Is that your beef? Wealth distribution? White privilege? It's funny to hear some crackers throw the adjective "white" in their rants as if it was something bad! What do you think should be done about "whiteness" and 'wealth'? You're not thinking of making lamp shades and soap or anything are you?

@puck61 That's an asinine argument. There's nothing wrong for being white or having wealth. It's what one does with them that makes a difference. McConnell is complaining that nothing's fair when he may be the biggest cheater out there. His complaints are hollow and fall on deaf ears.
@Graylight I will concede that most of the more powerful conservatives may not put popularity over principle, but most of them will put profit over principle! Even my beloved president. That's business.
IAre you talking about the airport? I think the crap they pulled on Cruz was wrong, but the airport thing was nothing. 'Cornering ' is kind of dumb. Plus the hypocrisy of thrusting yourself against someone and yelling "assault" is pretty stupid too! Why aren't they protesting and cornering Ellison?
