So if requiring a photo id to vote is supposedly racist

Is every other thing you need one for like purchasing acholol, driving, getting a job, entering a government building etc also racist. Funny every time the it's racist criers get asked that they don't answer

As long as photo IDs are easy for people without vehicles to obtain and maintain, there is no problem with it. The issue in many states, as several people have pointed out, is that it is used to proportionally suppress votes that would presumably be democratic votes. It is the voter suppression that is racist, not the act of showing voter ID.

Excellent answer. Let’s see how people do with the nuance. @windinhishair

@windinhishair but there's many reasons for id besides driving a car

@Mountainlady16 Yes, and the same problems exist for people to obtain them. Make it easy for people .to obtain and maintain IDs, and the issue will largely go away

@windinhishair true I think ids should be free permanent and issued automatically at a certain age like 14 or 15
