Does anyone else notice the states ran by the dems are also the ones that dont require picture id to vote

Supposedly it's racist but wait you can't buy beer or cigarettes, get a job, apply for housing, enter a government building and slot of other things without a photo ID so is all that racist too. Hell in my community a cop can stop you at any time for any reason and ask for it and arrest you if you don't have one. If you are to lazy to go spend 10 dollars to get an ID than that's your problem not the government being racist

That's because Democratic leaving bodies are generally more levelheaded and rational.

Though I personally am not against id laws, I recognize that they're used to harm others and suppress their votes.
@SW-User A vote is like money very powerful - why is that power given to illegals ? - answer to inflate the democratic love handles that Calif has and to keep the good ole welfare machine well greased.

@MarmeeMarch you're kidding, right? Illegals CAN'T vote! They're literally illegal. They have no rights, cant receive federal aid, and they DEFINITELY can't vote.
@SW-User no they cant vote in federal elections -
SW-User
@MarmeeMarch they also can't vote in most state elections. Some states may allow it, but that's entirely their prerogative. I know some cities, like San Francisco (I think? ) allow illegals to vote in local elections. However, in the majority of elections and that carry the most weight(federal), no.

@SW-User They have rights. Also, the person is not illegal, their presence in the country is.

@OggggO
One: Perhaps. It's been a minute since last i studied.
Two: ...and your point is...? That second part of your statement was nothing but filler. It said nothing.

@SW-User illegals can't receive aid on themselves but if they have anchor babies they can on them btw
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
[@OggggO either way they are still criminals

@SW-User I was addressing your statement that they are “literally illegal”.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@Mountainlady16 They aren’t usually criminals, you know. Overstaying your visa is not a crime - it’s a misdemeanor. Only a minority of illegal immigrants cross the border illegally - which actually is a crime.

@Mountainlady16 The baby is a US citizen and is entitled to aid. Them’s the breaks.

It’s also a pittance, so don’t make it out to be some sort of huge drain.

@SW-User SF allows parents of children in schools vote on school board elections regardless of citizenship, and that’s it. A third of the kids in our schools have foreign-born parents, so opening up this particular election to non-citizens made sense.
