Does anyone else notice the states ran by the dems are also the ones that dont require picture id to vote

Supposedly it's racist but wait you can't buy beer or cigarettes, get a job, apply for housing, enter a government building and slot of other things without a photo ID so is all that racist too. Hell in my community a cop can stop you at any time for any reason and ask for it and arrest you if you don't have one. If you are to lazy to go spend 10 dollars to get an ID than that's your problem not the government being racist

I'd say a few people have noticed who's most concerned about voter "fraud" by now and who is concerned about impediments to voting.

@MistyCee a id is required to do alot of stuff today
@Mountainlady16 Yup, and I think there's a lot to be said for requiring some form of ID.

But a lot of the states that require ID also have a history of doing things like closing down voting places.

I think it's a debatable issue, but on a related issue, I really like the idea of registering both to vote and for the Selective service when you get your driver's license.

I also paid extra for a "real ID" even though my state doesn't require it, because it was worried about big brother when Obama was in office.

It really pisses me off when local governments screw their own citizens to make a point about the feds, e.g. not participating in ACA markets, real ID, and passing plainly unconstitutional laws as test cases for the Supreme Court.

@MistyCee you need a state issued id for slot not just to vote.

@MistyCee you can't even get a job without an ID least not where I live
@Mountainlady16 You really shouldn't be able to anywhere, thanks to immigration oriented laws, last time I checked.

@MistyCee than y should anyone not have an ID
@Mountainlady16 Democrats will say they're poor rural folks (mostly black, but I'm old and southern), and can't afford to travel into town to get driver's licenses.

There's also the libertarian types who don't want to let the government keep tabs on them.

Personally, I don't think requiring a photo id is such a terrible burden, but the thing is, the stats on voter fraud really do show it's not an issue of any significance, and the millions of illegal Hillary voters Trump complained about are just not there. It's a total lie, like most of what comes out of his mouth.

@MistyCee it doesn't change the fact that the 3 million more ppl that voted for her where from 2 states
