The way to diffuse power in society is to strenghen the family,keep federal government small and distribute power to local governments. Have lots of competitive companies competing for the talents of a highly educated workforce. Socialist policies concentrate power and therefore defeat their own objectives.

@irishmolly72 Within that "diffusion of power"lies the path to tribalization and Balkanization, the acceptance of localized bigotry and repression. It is only because of the power of a centralized government that minorities have a chance at equality or any hope of justice. They may represent a small, easily oppressed group when local governments are allowed the power, but when they total millions over a whole nation then they can protect themselves because of those numbers.
