@GunSmoke9 Fwiw, I think you've got a point about race. Black, Hispanic, Asian, any race of Republican men all have the same anti-woman agenda. What's really sad is that probably most Republican women support that agenda, too.

That was the entire focus of the GOP's southern strategy...to give the racist Dixiecrats a place to land after they felt alienated by the Democratic Party after civil rights laws were passed. Prior to Trump, Republicans were nuanced enough to work that strategy with some plausible deniability. Trump just ran an overtly ham-fisted version of the same old playbook.

@GunSmoke9 I'm confused. It seems to me it should come out the same either way. If something is bad for blacks or bad for women, then ultimately it is bad for ALL people and the country. If all of us are not well, then none of us are well.

I don't believe I ever suggested that race had anything to do with Kavanaugh's hearing.
