Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining?

Former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) just told CNN that while the Brett Kavanaugh nomination for the Supreme Court is "likely to help Republicans in the Senate, it will probably cost Republicans another 10 to 20 seats in the House."

Meaning, beyond the "Blue Wave" that was already heading towards them.

It is not about polls it is about who shows up and this attack has energized republicans it is going to be quite the opposite, republicans will pick up senate seats because of the deplorable way the democratic senators have acted in this matter.

You obviously didn't read what I wrote.

Let's try it again, shall we?

@beckyromero No I read what you wrote which is based on what Sanatorium said, but I also read the Washington Post and an PBS article that said the Kavanaugh fight is energizing the Republicans.

@SevIsPamprinYouAlways Millennial's do favor democrats problem is they don't show up to vote. Expect 44 seats to go to the democrats and 48 to republicans with 8 seats a toss up. Democrats would have to win 7 of the 8 toss ups and that is not going to happen.

@Johnson212

I saw the News Hour piece as well.

But what Santorum was talking about was not a national poll, but that how the Kavanaugh nomination is energizing voters differently in individual states and individual Congressional districts.

Republicans might be able to pick off Senate seats in North Dakota and possibly Missouri. But lose suburban House districts that were voters aren't as conservative as in deep red mostly rural states. House districts that looked good for them before the Kavanaugh nomination.

@beckyromero I think you are right about but this is what I think about polls.[sep]
