Lisa Murkowski Meeting With 100 Women in An Hour

12:45pm CT

I think if any Republican votes "no" on Kavanaugh, it's Murkowski.

But I think hers won't be the deciding vote. She'll have cover to vote "no."

What I don't get, and putting ALL the allegations aside, is any legitimate Senator voting for confirmation AFTER he lied, yelled, pushed conspiracy theories and was clearly partisan.
If he's confirmed it's a true Conservative takeover of the Court and, by extension, the country.

Kennedy was a very pro-business justice.

I don't think it alters the balance of the court all that much on most issues.

It's more of a judicial temperment issue. Someone who said "what goes around comes around."

And will he use his seat on the court to seek revenge? Will he rule in favor of Trump in cases involving subpoenas, etc.

How will he rule on sexual assault or sexual harassment cases?

@LvChris
My bigger concern is losing Kennedy's voice on gerrymandering. You think Kavanaugh will strike down partisan gerrymandering? No way. I also worry for voters' rights.
Agree with you on that.

@beckyromero Or how will he vote on Roe v Wade? What about guns? Even fewer regulations for industries? What about gay marriage? There IS no 'settled law' when it come to the Supreme Court. He's a rock-solid Conservative who spewed conspiracy theories in his confirmation hearing. So I think it does alter the court. One justice can do that. It breaks the tie and we can expect a huge rush of social and financial cases making their way up the chain.
