I guess they support his racism, which I pretty much knew they did. No one has disavowed that, if they can even see it. 😞

@bijouxbroussard What racism? Frankly everyone running around spouting racist are the worst. They litteraly say that not everyone is a homosapien. which means they must be aliens.
@Smtwn829 You've not been paying attention to the man. I try not to let that surprise me anymore.

A Trump supporter when pointing out his racist track record...

@SW-User Yep. It amazes me, but I figure they just don’t want to see it, so they don’t.

He began his 2016 presidential campaign with a speech disparaging Mexican immigrants as criminals and “rapists. - Dept Of Homeland released the the amount of rapes committed to women that try to cross the border is at roughly 63% meaning 63 of 100 would end up raped trying to cross the border.

He uses the gang MS-13 to disparage all immigrants. Among many other statements, he has suggested that Obama’s protection of the Dreamers — otherwise law-abiding immigrants who were brought to the United States illegally as children — contributed to the spread of MS-13. - Not actually a racist comment. probably not true but not racist.

In December 2015, Trump called for a “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States,” including refusing to readmit Muslim-American citizens who were outside of the country at the time. - Muslims are not a race but a follower of the Islam Religion. not racist.

Trump said a federal judge hearing a case about Trump University was biased because of the judge’s Mexican heritage. -alright ill give on this one.

In June 2017, Trump said 15,000 recent immigrants from Haiti “all have AIDS” and that 40,000 Nigerians, once seeing the United States, would never “go back to their huts” in Africa. - inaccurate but not racist. Nigerians live below what we call the poverty line and in fact many lit in huts that are built from sticks, straw and mud especially in the more rural areas where modern tools are not readily available. Haitians also have one of the highest documents amounts of AIDs in the world.

At the White House on Jan. 11, Trump vulgarly called for less immigration from Haiti and Africa and more from Norway. -Again not racist, a country is not a race and also the immigrants are often under educated and do not fill in skilled worker positions. they typically work more menial jobs such as laborers.

He spent years suggesting that the nation’s first black president was born not in the United States but in Kenya, a lie that Trump still has not acknowledged as such. - again not racist as it is a comment of where he believe Obama was born, also this is targeted to one person not a race.

Trump called Obama (who was editor in chief of the Harvard Law Review) “a terrible student, terrible.” - again targeted against a single man and not a race. so not racist. same for all the other Obama ones.

Urban America As a Hellscape - how is this racist? like seriously... Have you seen the crime rates in Chicago and Detroit? it is a hell of its own.

He often casts heavily black American cities as dystopian war zones. In a 2016 debate with Hillary Clinton, Trump said, “Our inner cities, African Americans, Hispanics are living in hell because it’s so dangerous. You walk down the street, you get shot.” Trump also said to black voters: “You’re living in poverty; your schools are no good; you have no jobs.” - Again not racist as it is a factual statement based on the Cenus data and the Board of american education. Schools are often under funded in these areas and it becomes a huge issue as there is no way to improve them until the community gets involved to clean them up. It would take effort and hard work from everyone that has any stake in them to make a serious change for the better.

I can keep going but I think I have established a fair point. I would be happy for your informed rebuttal.

@bijouxbroussard I think there are some of his supporters who embrace it, some who tolerate it as a means to an end, and many others who deny it as a way of coping with the cognitive dissonance that must come from supporting such a morally bankrupt human being.
@Smtwn829
I can keep going but I think I have established a fair point.

The only point you've established is "I don't think it's racist". Especially in the case of Obama, Trump has told several flat out lies about his predecessor. He has no other reason to focus on Obama as he has but for his history going back 40+ years of racism. You're asking for an "informed" rebuttal---you, of course defining what is informed, just as you define what is racist. I don't know if you're a person of color or not. Most recognize the rhetoric and can define it. Many whites who are aware recognize it, too. But those who either don't want to acknowledge it or worse, agree with Trump (not all Nigerians live in "huts", btw, and there is in fact an African American middle and upper class right here in the U.S., and here's a hint---they're not all celebrities or people who work for Trump). So someone who wants to run for president but has to stereotype in order to dismiss and exclude people, focusing on race (or ethnicity, if you like) is a racist. I've had this conversation more times than I can tell you, and I figured posting the man's own words would settle things. Usually, when I encounter Trump supporters I just block them and save myself the headache. If you folks aren't racists yourselves, you're either clueless about it or apathetic. And I have no patience for that anymore. Sorry.

@bijouxbroussard

"Especially in the case of Obama, he's told several flat out lies about his predecessor." - Even if the statement is factually innaccurate it is still not a statement targeting a race. It is targeted at a single individual.

"and there is in fact an African American middle and upper class right here in the U.S." - Your right there is, there are also some that are very wealthy.

"not all Nigerians live in "huts"" -Also true and also why I included more information to provide a reference to conditions in the country.

I am happy to agree with you the he does stereotype more than he should. Also that he says shit he shouldn't. I don't agree with everything the man says. There are somethings I would call racism such as affirmative action. I think it should be abolished. If anything put thing on the books that says any one that meets the requirements can not be denied based on race, religion, ideals, or anything else. I am a firm believer that if people want equality for everyone then we should hit the law books and start re-writing getting rid of laws, updating and changing them. Though leave the constitution alone.

I would also say that there is not a single illegal immigrant that is law abiding. they might not be breaking laws once they are here. They did however break a law to get here. they can process like all the legal immigrants did.

Also just to stir the pot a bit more. Hillary is still a criminal in my book. I work in IT and if anything even remotely related to doing something like that happened on my watch there would be jail time for several people involved.
