Beers only or hard liquor chart?
Graylight · 51-55, F
@MrBrownstone A glass of dinner wine, a bottle of beer, and a shot of spirits are all equivalent in alcohol contents. A standard drink is:

A 12-ounce bottle or can of regular beer.
A 5-ounce glass of dinner wine.
A one and 1/2 ounce of 80 proof distilled spirits. (Either straight or in a mixed drink.)

Federal agencies recognize alcohol equivalence. They include DOT, FDA, DOE, HSS, NIAAA, CDC, USDA, NHTSA, TTB, and the Surgeon General’s Office.

Beers now come in varying percentages of alcohol, but rarely vary by more than 2-3%. So yes, essentially alcohol amounts across different beverages are the same.

@Graylight Thanks for proving my point that there are different alcohol contents.

@MrBrownstone The alcohol equivalency is the same. The BAC chart provided by MariaATX applies to all kinds of alcohol.
People get drunk off 3 beers?
@SW-User it just trips me out how one person could have 20 and be equally as fucked as someone who's only had 3
SW-User
@MicrowaveDinner chances are who you speak about were fucked once on 3, if not 4, and the numbers game is really silly.
