Why is it that those of you who do not like Donald Trump as President can't just wait like people did in the past for the term limit(s) to end for elected officials they did not like?

You griping about it every second of the day only makes the time he's in office seem longer!

Because silence is consent. That’s one of the basic tenets of our constitution - we won’t sit down and shut up. Except if my parents tell me to sit down and be quiet.

@SimplyTracie Untrue.

@xixgun What did I say that isn’t true?

@xixgun Just because you don't agree with it, doesn't make it untrue.
xixgun · M
@SW-User Silence is not consent.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@xixgun It is in my opinion.

@SimplyTracie If a woman is assaulted but doesn't scream or cry out or say, "No"; are you thereby decreeing that she consents?

It is untrue that silence is consent.

@xixgun That’s ridiculous. When is an assault ever consensual?

If your child does something wrong and you say absolutely nothing. That’s equivalent to consenting.

@xixgun Never been in a meeting where some decisions were made or changes announced, noone says anything but everyone walks away quietly grumbling to their neighbors about what happened? All that silence was consent. They didn't like it, but they accepted it.

@SimplyTracie Not necessarily. And you'll have to speak to lawyers over "when is an assault consensual".

@xixgun An assault is an unlawful physical attack upon another. How can that ever be consensual?
