@jackjjackson Treated like what? Plus I do have all my facts straight. Do you though? I mean Dr. Ford spoke about this incident during Couples Therapy six years ago, WAY before Kavanaugh came into the spot light. You guys make it seem like she brought this up out of the blue.

You guys also make it seem like the democrats are out to get a this republican nutcase, when all it is, is a woman who doesn't want the man who sexually assaulted her to be a Supreme Court judge for life. As for why Dr. Ford didn't report it 36 years ago? Same reason as why are so many sexual assault cases are not reported, because of victim blaming and the fear of receiving death threats as Dr. Ford has gotten once she spoke out. Plus Kavanaugh's mother was a judge, so what could she do?

@jackjjackson First off, I wouldn't put my hands on anyone like Kavanuagh did, it's his fault that he did. That's why he's in this mess. Even some republicans advised Trump not to select Kavanaugh as a Supreme Court Judge. They knew he was no good.

@SW-User do some research on Anita Hill who become infamous when she accused Clarence Thomas when he was nominated and is on the supreme court

@nedkelly The difference that I found was that during Anita Hill's testimony, George H.W. Bush did authorize an FBI investigation on her claims about Clarence Thomas, before they both testified about them during Thomas’s Supreme Court confirmation hearings. And that investigation took three days and concluded that the allegation was unfounded.

So why aren't Trump and the Republicans not following the same precedent and authorize a similar investigation? They want to pretend that this is simply a “he said/she said” situation with no other evidence available, when clearly it is not. So what are they hiding? I mean if anyone were accused of something damaging by someone, you'd think they would issue an investigation to claim innocence.
